Nicola Cormick has put forth book five in here Women of the Ton series.

This story revolves around political cartoonist Lady Tess Derant and former political prisoner Owen Purchase (viscount Rothbury).

This is not the story of a smooth courtship, but rather of trial and despair as Tess tries to put the past behind her and do what is right for her family and herself.

Over all not a bad read but parts are very reminiscent of some previous title. But that feeling only exists in a few chapters and not across the whole book. I give this book a four out of 5 stars.
