Fable is the daughter of the seas most ruthless feared pirate and gem connoisseur. The boat her family was on crashes in a storm and only her father and his navigator and her survive. her father dumps her on an island and leaves her so that she may be far away from him and learn skills.

writing is ok but plot is fun and exciting
