This was the first arc of the year and I loved it. I started this last year but finished it this year. Even though Evi made some mistakes she did not deserve what she went through. I feel like she starts to catch a break then everything falls apart. Also why with the cliffhanger I was not expecting that.

Jax is the perfect man for Evi and I know he will burn the world down to get her back. I am looking forward to book 2. I gave this book 4 stars and 2.5 🌶️ there were some great scenes with Jax. 

This is my first time reading a book by this author and I will look at more books by them. I highly recommend reading this dark romance. It does end on a cliffhanger and I hope to read book 2 when it is out.
