Enjoyable if not particularly interesting
Love Julia Quinn, but this is not one of her stronger offerings. The couple in question seem to only fall madly in love cause they hadn’t thought of it before, and there’s no real conflict, even with the heroine’s kidnapper. I did enjoy the feminist twist on the genre, but it doesn’t really get them anywhere, and while that might be accurate, it was still disappointing.
