I enjoyed this book a lot.

Enemies to lovers is a fav trope of mine, so this book was already interesting. It was slow to start and it took a while to get to the actual plot points from the description of the book. I loved seeing Malik and Karina interact before really knowing who the other was. I also loved Malik's magic. I liked the theatrical moments and the story teller vibes. Lots of twists at the end.

I'm excited for the sequel.
