I attempted this book twice in high school and hated it. Keeping with the "Third Times a Charm" saying, I tried it again in college and was not disappointed. The book is on the longer side and like most novels over 800 pages, some things could have probably been cut out but that is what makes for an epic story. It is well worth the read if you have that sort of time on your hands.
