ARE YOU KIDDING me with that ending?! I am so furious, FURIOUS! I need the next one now, I demand better for my favorite people whyyyyy. I am going to be so mad if that ending unravels all of the relationship and trust and everything we've been put through in the previous books!

This book just, it just seemed so different from the previous books and plots. More like a settting up for a major world event. There was almost 0 romance and it was frustrating that Slade and Auren were apart for the entire book since that is a huge part of this series's pull for me personally. It seemed way too long for the amount that actually happened, especially because it's a BIG book.

I loved learning more about Annwyn, and seeing Auren learn the different ways to use her power. I appreciated the intense fury and tension and fear that radiated from this book - the author knows how to ratchet up the tension and emotions like no other!

The previously books hooked me and unfortunately this one I struggled to pay attention to until the ending.
