This book had me hooked from the very start. A demon and his brothers who left hell eons ago but still have issues with their father and other demons wanting to drag them back. A teacher who survived an abusive relationship that shattered his self worth and doesn’t realise how strong and capable he his.

The chemistry between Cal, bookstore owner/demon, and school teacher Oliver is instant and electrifying. It brings all of Cal’s possessive instincts to the fore causing him to make an irreversible decision regarding Oliver but still leaving Oliver choices. A choice is made that includes lots of steamy times complimented by sweet and tender moments. A choice that has these wonderful men overcoming a couple of hiccups before getting their own HEA just like the romance books they enjoy reading.

Strongly developed main characters, a fantastic cast of side characters to keep things interesting, great world building and an plot that kept me fully engaged made for a very enjoyable read. I’m looking forward to the next in the series.
