I’m going to separate review into the two parts of the book  because they were so different.

Part 1
3.5 stars
I really like the start and the way Pip was dealing with her PTSD from the first two books and then the mystery started and I expected it to be as good as the mysteries in the first two books…but it wasn’t. There were only a few suspects and there were a few very obvious clues so I wasn’t at all surprised by the reveal.

The purple hairbrush! Jason’s company! Somebody in Andie’s house!

I would have rated this section 2 stars but I loved all the characters particularly Ravi and Pip.

Part 2
4 stars

I don’t know if I hated part 2 or loved it! Pip went completely crazy and Ravi just went along with her.

I could understand Pip killing Jason, he had been a serial killer and tried to kill her, but her covering it up and framing Max was just stupid.

  It was quite unrealistic but Pip had never been know for making good decisions and it certainly made the book a dramatic end to the series!  I did love the last line though! 

‘Hey sarge, remember me?’

Overall
If you read and liked the first 2 AGGGTM books I would recommend this but just don’t expect this book to be the same as the others. It linked into the other 2  books well and avoided adding lots of new characters. I also liked how it discussed the ideas of truth and justice, which have been important to Pip since the first book and the way in this book (and the previous one) there were more morally grey characters, instead of  simply good or bad.
