Being a moth keeper is a giant responsibility and takes much training and practice to succeed. When Anya is finally moth keeper, she feels like this is where she is meant to be, until she starts to consider what it is like to live under the sun. When she takes the chance, the moths and village people have to deal with the consequences. 

As with their other works, the storytelling was beautifully supported by brilliant illustrations. I enjoyed the full-page illustration spreads peppered amongst the written story. This does read a bit on the younger end of middle-grade, however, I think that readers of all ages will appreciate the storytelling, the world-building, and the themes of friends, exploration, and community.
