I enjoyed this, especially the contemporary writing about India’s caste system, the character decline/development and the themes of status, corruption, upward mobility and the ethics of self vs. others.
I enjoyed the characters of Lovely and Jivan but did not like PT Sir. PT Sir’s character reminded me of someone from a dystopian novel.
Overall, i would definitely recommend this as a thoughtful and meaningful read!
