I think I didn’t like this as much as I thought I would because of how excited I was for it... and it just didn’t completely live up to my expectations.

There’s something weird about the way this book was written where I felt like I was moving from cool setpiece to cool setpiece, with no sense of time.

Overall I fell like this whole book was like the prologue to a much better book.

Ah well, the last 50 pages did excite me so I’ll end up reading the next book too.
