In every generation a Slayer is born. Nina and her twin Artemis are not normal. They go to a boarding school to learn how to be a Watcher for the Slayers. Nina has a hard time accepting being a Watcher and would rather heal people. She finds out she is a Slayer, but she is the last Slayer ever. Nina and Artemis’ father died protecting Buffy. Yes, that Buffy who is a vampire slayer.
I really liked the world and the characters. I didn’t get the Buffy part that much because I never watched the show, but at least I know she is a vampire slayer. I do feel like this story was slow.
