You know how one of the keys to becoming sober is not to surround yourself with temptation? Well, what if your temptation was walking the streets, on your social media feeds, on your television, and maybe even delivering your take-out?

This is what I love the most about Katy Brent’s Kitty Collins books: wish fulfillment. There are awful men in this world–men I’d love to see pay for their actions but also know will never be punished. Kitty Collins? She not only can and will punish them, she’ll do it while wearing Comme de Garcons and Jimmy Choos and then touch up her YSL lipstick on the way out the door.

Yes, you will need to read How to Kill Men and Get Away With It to understand any of this book, but that’s not a hardship, because both of these books are brilliantly funny, terribly insightful, and just a little heartbreaking. I’d seek out some information on CW/TWs somewhere online because Kitty needs a reason to be angry and men do give her an on-page reason to be so, but everything is treated with care and has a reason. I can’t recommend Kitty’s style of justice enough. 4⭐️
