Reads like Empire of Pain, but with more medical device with a sprinkle of writing that reads more news article than narrative nonfiction.

The writing is dry and did not translate the best via audio with awkward pauses where commas are, etc. I would compare it to Empire of Pain in the scale of writing and decades covered, but not in the skill of writing and story telling. 

Harris covers multiple issues that Johnson & Johnson has had with their products from talc and Tylenol to DePuy Synthese products and other pharmaceuticals.

I work in medical devices and I would say this is a must read for anyone that works in any side of medical devices, pharmaceuticals or cosmetics. Also would recommend to anyone who thinks MAHA destroying the FDA is a good idea (IT IS NOT A GOOD IDEA AT ALL)

Also enjoyed the description of Warsaw, IN, where DePuy was founded, as bucolic. Warsaw is my hometown and that description is above the vocabulary of most people that live there.
