Okay, I actually liked this better than the first volume. We get more from the characters, and the plot is more interesting. We also get Five's backstory in this, which adds more complexity to the story overall. There's also more emotion included here, and we get more glimpses into the motivations of the characters.

While I still prefer the show (a rarity!), it's interesting to see where this storyline goes instead. This volume is essentially a combination of the first two seasons of the show, so I'm interested in seeing where the third volume goes.
