I haven't read a Rumpelstiltskin retelling before so when I saw that Marissa Meyer was writing one I pre-ordered this as soon as it was available. Best decision ever 😂

For a chunker this was a seriously fast read, one I finished in less than two days. I did not want to put this down and stayed up until my eyes couldn't stay open anymore. This just found me at the right time and I was definitely in the right mood for it.

I absolutely ADORE the romance budding in between the mystery and chaos. This is also a very dark and eerie read which is one of my favorite types of fantasy. I just love this author's writing style. Now the agony of waiting for the next book begins ... 😂😂
