To kick off my summer reading, I dove into this nonfiction read and boy, did I learn a lot. Lembke is clearly knowledgable in her field and is able to convey the opiate addiction epidemic in terms that those of us without a medical degree can understand. I found this book to be extremely interesting and it overall helped me become more sympathetic towards those struggling with addiction. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking to learn more about this topic.
