Though the story is somewhat flawed, I found myself enjoying this graphic novel. It helps that I like the art style, making it somewhat easier to stay invested in the story.
Like many other reviews here, I will agree that there are waayyy too many plot lines going on in this story. Some are more developed than others, though, leaving half baked ideas along the way.
It reminded me of a bit of Shannon Hale's graphic novel Real Friends, only with more fantasy elements, humor, and disembodied heads.
