This series was a difficult one for me to really invest into. I very much loved the story. Personally, I do feel that it was some of the main characters that caused it to fall flat. It's difficult to explain where the grip lost me in the series and I was hoping this last book would hook me back in. The ending closed off the saga nicely, and I don't feel like I am left with many unanswered questions or unsavoury explanations. I did enjoy Leigh's writing and I will definitely be reading the other Grishaverse books. That being said, I really wanted to love these characters but it just was not meant to be.
