I think Whims, for a debut writer, did an amazing job of setting the stage for the rest of the series. I was engaged during the entire story, and while the pacing could have been a bit more measured, taken as a whole, this is a super enjoyable read with one hell of a cliffhanger! I am genuinely excited to see what happens in the rest of the tale. 💖
