Witches of East End
by Melissa de la Cruz
This book started off good, with some interesting characters and setting. But everything went down hill after that. Nothing really happened for the first two hundred pages, except character development. There wasn't any mystery, or at least there was some weird occurrences but not even the characters found them interesting enough to actually look into. The relationships weren't very interesting either. Freya was cheating on her fiancé and it wasn't even interesting. The worst part was that the ending had to be explained. The last few chapters had to explain why things happened, which drives me nuts. Also, the idea of the witches being from Asgard was actually interesting but only mentioned in the last 15 pages and then there was way too much explaining of it. This series was definitely not for me and I won't be continuing it.
