William by Mason Coile
3.0

This book had potential but ultimately fell flat for me. While the premise promised a gripping exploration of artificial intelligence and its consequences, the story was disappointingly predictable. The narrative unfolded in a way that felt overly familiar, lacking the originality needed to truly captivate.

There is one massive twist at the end, but unfortunately, it didn’t make up for the rest of the book’s shortcomings. Rather than elevating the story, the twist felt like an attempt to salvage what had been a formulaic plot. Overall, while the book had a few moments of intrigue, it didn’t bring anything new to the table. Fans of psychological horror or AI-driven stories might find it passable, but it didn’t leave a lasting impression.

My rating is a 2.5 rounded up to 3
