The Post Office Shop

I loved this story of second chances, a story that talks about people who is able to start again and have faith in a better future and the community that supports them.
This is the 5th in a series but it can be read as a stand alone, I will read the rest of the series as I loved the characters and the setting.
Rory is an ex con and I liked how the author developed a character with a story of abuse and violence and made him a fleshed out and realistic guy who started again.
Tilly lost the man she loved and is facing the beginning of menopause. The description of the hot flashes is quite realistic and made me smile.
There's some romance, there's a strong community, and there's hope.
It's an excellent read in these bleak times and it made me smile and root for the characters.
Highly recommended.
Many thanks to K.T. Dady and Rachel's Random Resources for this digital copy, all opinions are mine
