I really enjoy the Aru Shah books.
I feel like Aru and her friends grew so much in this second instalment that I cannot believe she is only 12. I love how her relationship with Brynne grew throughout the book and how they ended up being friends. I love how these books teach me about Hindu mythology. And how it uses nerdy references to complete my enjoyment.
After just saving the world from the End of Time, Aru and Mini are accused of stealing the bow and arrow of the god of love, Kamadeva. Together with their new Pandava sister Brynne and Aru's neighbour Aiden, they have 10 mortal days to clear their names or they will be exiled from the Otherworld forever.
