I don't really know where to start with this one. I honestly went into this one blind - all I knew was that you need to have read book 1 in this series in order to read this, and that it was a new Meghan Quinn. I didn't read the synopsis or anything like that. I was surprised to find that this was another book about Lilly and Keller and carries on from after the end of the previous book. Which was weird to me, because I thought that their story was done, and had assumed this was a new standalone within the series about another couple in the Royal world.
I'll be honest - I really didn't need to read this book - it's one of those books where I was like - why did we get this? I think Lilly and Kellers story could have been left how it was. Maybe that's just me, but this one I wasn't overly fussed on. There was a HUGE lack of communication, there was nothing really keeping me too interested in the story until I got around the 70-80% mark. I don't think I connect with Lilly and Keller - I liked some of the secondary characters and the bonds formed there, but this just wasn't really hitting the mark for me. And I hate to say that because normally I love Meghan Quinn books.
I'm quite sure plenty of other readers will love this though, there is quite a lot that happens, it just wasn't for me.
