Exactly as advertised: high fantasy with low stakes. I loved it. The prose was wonderful and the story heartfelt. It was truly amazing to be reading about an orc and other such beings in such a way.

This book had the loveliest characters and it was everything I never knew I needed. I would love to see more books of characters just experiencing the high fantasy world. Trendsetting and spectacular.
