A good, solid read for a weekend. While I wish the story was a bit happier, this is real life and life has ups and downs. I do enjoy the writing style of Wizenberg and I think that her happy ending is real as she came to an understanding of being a restaurant owner. I could never own a restaurant and appreciate the story she told.
