Taking my overall rating down to a 3 but I think this definitely sits more at a 3.5 for me.

I reread this for BookQuest and sadly it felt a little more 'meh' this time around. I think Lancelot and Guinevere are definitely my favorite characters but Arthur really doesn't experience any sort of character growth until the very end in my opinion which is unfortunate. The plot was interesting, though it was a bit predictable the first time I read it so of course that didn't change with a reread. I'm intrigued to see where the second book of this series goes and definitely feel that it has a ton of potential with both plot and character relationships! I would particularly like for a certain f/f relationship to be explored but I'm not sure it will be. A girl can dream though!
