it is FUN to reread books you loved as a teenager, lemme tell ya! except, i don’t think i read this far into the uglies series (lol, this is only book 2 out of 4) because it didn’t ring any bells like the first book did, but still! this just didn’t have the action and the pacing and characters i liked so much about uglies, and i was losing my PATIENCE with all the pretty-talk (how many times can they call a thing “bubbly”?! my gosh 😵‍💫)

definitely going to keep reading though, because i’m committed now 😅
