So I started off really enjoying this, maybe a 3.75 star, and then it went downhill from there. The writing is a little childish, the plot moved slowly then insanely quickly, and the characters were all one-dimensional.
Persephone was hard to get a read on for me. Like she “blushed” all the time for no reason. She was so closed off and quick to react. The showdown with her mother lasted less than a page. Her powers, and why they never worked, were never explained enough for me.
The spicy parts felt strange, I dunno why
