meganlowe87 's review for:
Hey, Whiskey
by Kaylee Ryan
I voluntarily received an advance review copy of this book and chose to review it.
3.5 stars.
I love Kaylee’s books, she’s one of my favourite authors and an automatic one-click. That said, I’m a little over her female leads quite often having the same background. Orphaned, family issues, trust issues, all that jazz. I like a little bit of variety and it’s starting to get a bit one note.
I also found this book to be a bit slow, and I didn’t find Saylor’s feelings at all equal to Rhett’s. I liked the story, but it wasn’t one of her best. Nevertheless, it’s still a good read.
