I think this is a really useful book to hear first hand of how MLMs work, and their growing ties to right wing politics. It could have gone into more detail on how MLMs prey on people with little money or from minorities (although it did note this is bad behaviour) for their gains. I think listening to the audiobook is a better option as you can hear from the author and get the tone better and I warmed to her *however* she begins to talk about her own journey as a coach which I think is also veering towards unethical and is tied up in the white privilege the author notes and recognises in herself. She has a private certification as far as I understood - not qualified through a degree or anything which I think blues the lines a bit on how much I think she is truly out of the capitalist noose.
