very well done BBC dramatization of the book and a nicely abridged version of the story.
i has planned to reread the series but i think this was actually a nice way to reread the book (and series overall since i will continue with the other two audiobooks in this series as well) when i saw my library recently got them in.
i so prefer original not abridged books especially in books that i really love to get emerged in the world.
but i do have a bit of a soft spot for dramatizations and i am so thankful that my library finally started to have some. especially for rereads those are wonderful ways to reexperience a book but in a completely new way.
so if you never tried especially BBC dramatizations? highly recommend them. they have full casts and sound effects and are very well and thought out productions!
