proseamongstthorns 's review for:
A Dangerous Crossing
by Rachel Rhys
I feel like this one just didn’t quite deliver, but had a lot of promise.
Our protagonist can barely be described ‘the hero’, she essentially just floats through this book afraid to stand up to anyone and fretting about how she’s perceived and her future.
And the aha reveal at the end felt like a cheapened shot that kind of came out of nowhere.
