Can't Get Enough by Kennedy Ryan
5.0

If I could give Can’t Get Enough by Kennedy Ryan more than five stars, I would. Hands down, my favorite in the Skyland series—no question. Maverick Bell? I need him in every way. 😩😭

What draws me to Kennedy’s books time and time again is her ability to craft confident, self-assured FMCs who live life boldly and fiercely and are not apologetic. Hendrix Barry is no exception—she is powerful, ambitious, and unwavering in her goals. And yet, what made her story hit so hard for me was how much I saw myself in her. I may be younger, but her refusal to settle and her commitment to her dreams? That resonated deeply with me and I loved reading about a character like this. I think every woman wants a man who sees her as clearly and completely as Maverick sees Hendrix. This is the ultimate billionaire/friends to lovers romance and it was asbolutely my favorite.🥹

And speaking of Maverick—whew. The way he pursues Hendrix with intention, patience, and passion? Unreal. He is the kind of man who doesn’t just chase; he sees her, values her, worships her. Their chemistry is electric, their love story unforgettable.

Beyond the romance, Kennedy Ryan weaves in powerful themes of family, sacrifice, equity, and resilience. The representation of Black wealth and success in this book was so beautifully done. Can’t Get Enough is a testament to strength, power, and the ability to succeed despite every obstacle.

This book made me cry. More than once. It made me reflect. It made me feel. Kennedy Ryan has a way of writing that honors Black women in all their brilliance, all their layers, all their beauty. She doesn’t just write romance—she writes experiences that leave a mark on your heart. The author’s note was truly so perfect and I will miss this series so much.

Kennedy Ryan, you’ve done it again. A masterpiece. A triumph. A love story for the ages.

Thank you to NetGalley, Kennedy Ryan, and Forever for the eARC of this book.
