This is a very cute, sweet, and wholesome sapphic romance novella between a witch and a half demon. Amaya likes her solitude and feels uncomfortable around people. When Rue arrives at her home to escape an unwanted marriage with a cousin, she claims that Amaya is who she's meant to be with. Amaya is sceptical but lets Rue stay with her. I had a lot of fun reading the interactions between Rue and Amaya. Amaya is not very chatty, but Rue is, so they balance each other out. This novella is compared to Pride and Prejudice and Charmed. Anyone who is a fan of one or both of those should check this out.
