Tyler Johnson Was Here
by Jay Coles
I should have read a blurb of this book so I'd have known what I was getting into when I started this book, since it was a different story than I was expecting for whatever reason. I wasn't in the right kind of mood really when I started this book, but it kept my attention nonetheless, and since it took a while to slowly read it, most of that experience was mitigated by time. This is a really moving story, and Marvin's voice was the power behind that. It's a small and big story simultaneously, only a few characters but big themes and a lot to grapple with.
