It's pretty average, too many descriptors for it to be enjoyable. The author goes on such lengths to describe how awful the main character's family is. Hogwarts doesn't really sound like a place that teaches properly. The supposed to be antagonist character was defeated was too easily, some might say it's lore, but it does feel like lazy writing.
