I really enjoyed reading it, but I wish there was more. I wanted more because some areas felt lacking, but I wanted more because I wanted to deep dove in the book and love there for a bit. Like the book itself is a really strong base, but I felt that the history/background of the kingdom and characters could have been explored with more character development. Overall the plot was interesting, the story moved quickly, and I was hooked. Read the book in 1 sitting and I'm excited to see where book 2 goes.
