Cinder Luna

hopeful
lighthearted
medium-paced
This was a super cute Cinderella type modern retelling. I love that Luna and Henry get to know each other first through gaming (where they don't know who the other really is) and then in small interactions in real life (most of which are cut short by something).
Luna is a sweet girl. So much so that she's always taken advantage of (i.e. through the twins 😠) and some don't think she's worthy of anything (I e. an ex that said she wasn't ambitious enough for him but she went to take care of an ill family member!). I loved that Henry didn't make her feel like she was less.
I really loved Aunt Agatha. Who wouldn't love a woman who dresses like the genre of book she is reading! She just knew how great of a relationship Luna and Henry would have but didn't interfere and let it run how it did. The small town of Brookhaven is full of some fun characters (not the twins 🤣) . I'm very excited for the next book in the series!
