In space, salvaging can be big money and extremely dangerous if you board the wrong ship. Jann has entered a ship with a malevolent alien hunting her down. Enter a portal officer who Jann has run into before to save the day, and her sex life. This story is not long enough. I would have loved more information about the ship and the aliens to see where the chemistry between the two lead characters goes.
