I have loved Bella Jewel's writing since I first picked up Hell's Knights, so I always have a pretty good idea of what I am going to get with one of her novels.

I have to say, I really do like the Alpha's Heart series a heck of a lot. I love the role reversal, with strong, amazing women in the man's work environment.

Tazen Watts is, was and always will be a jerk. I liked the softer side we see later in the book, but he pretty much is an arse.

Quinn is strong, I loved that she didn't fall right into bed with Taz, no matter what the attraction. The harder things get, the taller she stands, no letting anyone or anything break her spirit.

She gives Taz as good as she gets from him.



I enjoyed where the story took us. I LOVED the fact that Quinn didn't run off in a hissy over some stupid thing, acting like an irrational 12 year old girl. She stuck it to them and walked with her head held high. She kicks arse and takes numbers.

There are some smoking hot sexy times that will have you fanning yourself!

There are some great secondary characters, I adored Taz's family, and what was there not to love about Jase, Quinn's best friend. Oh, and hallelujah, he is not secretly in love with her (am I the only one who is sick of that one???)

I am looking forward to the last book, Hard to Forget (there is a good teaser of this at the end of Hard to Break.
