this was a bit on the weaker side not comparing to the other books as well as compared to others in the series.

it felt a bit dragged out and overly wordy and explanation heavy in some moments while other moments i wish there would have been more explanations -for example about the twin bond how it works and when it establishes itself and why it hasn’t been studied if everything else is said to be known or looked into?- and some moments where very rushed -the entire relationship between dorian and ashaya!- so the entire book felt very unbalanced to me.

it was still a good read and it certainly offered a push in the overall plot points the entire series carries with what is happening with the humans changlings and psys.

i just wish i could have connected a bit more with the main couple in this one.

good book, not the best in the series but i hope the next one picks up again!
