Into Darkness (Shannon Ames, #1)
by T.J. Brearton
Special Agent Shannon Ames is still in her probationary period with the FBI when she’s called in for the murder of a member of the media. The second in as many weeks.
I’m glad I stuck with this book because the ending was actually pretty good and it was a really nice perspective of Shannon Ames’ thought process while solving the crimes.
However, I did really struggle with the first half of the book and almost gave up with it. I couldn’t connect with the writing and found some of the things that were said a bit odd. Thus, the lower rating.
Despite that though, like I said the end was great and worth sticking it out for.
Also very thankful to NetGalley and Inkubator Books for this ARC.
