Such a wonderful story, if a bit odd. A little girl is sad her dad is away on business and she is sick today. But her cat, Rotunda, gets a bit snippy causing our girl to say yes to a mysterious stranger who hoped out of a chest and promised her adventure. The story is quite nice, but the illustrations are the best part.
