shout out to the lovely taylor for this wonderful recommendation!!! taylor I loved this!! this is a suburban mystery/thriller that follows a bunch of mothers of children starting their first year of primary school in a fictional sydney beach town. i much preferred this to the other lianne moriaty book that I read and I'm excited to watch the tv show! i don't have a lot to say on this (sorry I don't have a lot to say when I actually enjoyed the book😣😣) but I lovedddd hearing the surbuban mum tea and even though I obviously haven't lived something like this, I have definitely met all of the characters from this book in real life. wonderfully paced, great characters, and a intriguing and satisfying mystery! 4.25 stars
