They Never Learn by Layne Fargo

Holy Shit this was so good!!
I loved following these twisted characters, in this dark thrilling intense story.
We follow two main characters:
- Scarlet, a university professor who has managed to get away with murder for years, getting rid of the most disgustingly abusive men on campus.
- A shy freshman who is slowly learning to grow into herself while falling for her pretty roommate.
But the numerous deaths are starting to get suspicious and are now being investigated... This year might be the year Scarlet's killing streak goes completely wrong...

As much as I loved the main characters and how the story was a clear criticism of how men think they're owned everything, one small thing disappointed me: I would have mike to have seen, in contraste to all these horrid men, at least one or two truly nice men. Because this book shows every single male character as an awful and abusive person. While I appreciate criticizing a part of what many men can become, I do believe it important to nuance and show that a number of men can also be great people.

This does not take away from the fact that I absolutely loved this book. For its message and its characters. I was hooked from the get go.
