I said it before, I’ll say it again, Lyla’s writing is like a warm sunbeam on a summer’s day with a cool breeze to keep you from sweating. 
I loved this one, and all the characters in it. Life changes fast and this book holds so many big feelings both good and bad that are just so relatable. 
I love Teddy, I love Gus, I love these stories of Rebel Blue. These books are cute and kind and soft and lovely. Good palate cleansers when you’re slugging through harder reads and yet these little books stick with you.
