The Widow
by Fiona Barton
Too much build up with not enough explained. The book spends so much time leaving us "wondering" if the widow knows anything that by the time it is revealed if it does or not, it seems sudden and out of the blue. The book switches between 4 perspectives in 2 time periods which adds more interest as you try to put all the stories together, but eventually it all falls flat together.
